Meet the crew!
Dan Greenbaum - Arborist

Dan grew up in rural Kent Connecticut and has played in trees and trucks as long as he can remember. Graduating with a BFA in environmental sculpture and a strong desire to travel the world. His father owned a rental property and so he soon became a trusted handyman and learned a variety of skills and tools for all aspects of property maintenance.

He was teaching whitewater kayaking on weekends for a number of years when the love of his life decided to sign up for a lesson. With a young son and daughter on the way, he needed to help provide for their kids. He loved trees and being outdoors, so it made sense to combine this with his obsession for power tools which led him into becoming an Arborist.
Dan received his certification because he wanted to understand how to care for trees and be able to work with them, without harming them.
Occasionally, he gets the opportunity to combine his love of sculpture and trees. He has created custom treehouses, outdoor showers, cabanas, gardens and more.
He is always investing in the latest safety equipment, expanding his knowledge of trees and advancing his climbing and rigging skills.
Ted DeVoe - Ground Operations

Dan and Ted met as kids paddling the Housatonic river and have been friends ever since. To this day they occasionally paddle together in the 'dynamic duo' (a two person whitewater kayak) - down a class 5 rapid. Ted enjoys his outdoor playtime which also includes snowboarding and mountain biking.
